A Few Comments About Comments

First of all, I want to thank everyone who has commented on the blog. Your comments make the blog more interesting and help me to know how I’m doing.

This is for those of you who haven’t yet commented. Having heard from several people that they have tried to submit a comment and were unable to do so, I suspect there may be others.

The first time you submit a comment, you will be asked to asked to join WordPress.  The way it is presented seems to me a little unclear, as it sounds as if you are joining to have a blog. That is, of course, optional. The sign-in process is the same to register to leave a comment. I hope this helps.

To leave a comment, click on “Comments” at the top, next to the title. A reply form will appear, noting that “You must be logged in to post a comment.” Clicking on this will take you to the Log-In Page. Just below the log-in boxes, click on “Get a free WordPress account.”

On the page that appears next, fill out the information and, and the bottom, you will be given the option of getting a blog or getting a user name. Make your choice, and welcome aboard.

Of course, if you would prefer to make a comment that remains private, you may use the e-mail form on the Contact page.

Looking forward to hearing from all of you.
